A coiled grass Yup’ik basket with a broad, slightly bulbous body and a flat oval base, topped with a gently convex lid without the traditional knobbed finial. The basket features a continuous polychrome wraparound design of stylized caribou figures in alternating rows, rendered in muted shades of reddish-orange and dark brown. Fibers are almost entirely vertical as woven, with some light loss consistent throughout. Measures approximately 16" x 9.5" x 14" tall.

Two adorable otter sculptures in bronze, signed by Alaska artists Jacques Regat (b.1948) and Mary Regat (b.1943) of the husband-wife team of sculptors of Regat Studio. First is a c.1989 piece titled "Spring Fever", numbered 115/250, depicting two playful land otters featuring a shinier patina than the other, on an oval-shaped green marble base highlighted with complimentary white swirls and veins, with a felt bottom; the second c.1979, is titled "Family Circle", numbered 19/25, depicting three river otters, one mother and two pups snuggled together. A walrus oosik, a word coming from the Inupiaq word usak or uzuk, a term used to refer to the baculum, or penile bone, of various Arctic marine mammals. This example is capped at one end with a layer of baleen, and further decorated with a carved walrus tusk figural NWC style eagle head, with eyes and nostrils of inset baleen. The opposite end features a walrus tusk cap, further decorated with two leather strips accented with elongated tusk beads. The middle of the oosik also features baleen and tusk accents, and is initialed "L.H." by the artist. Measures approximately 16.5" x 3" x 1".

An exceptional and large diorama crafted of walrus tusk depicting a grizzly bear advancing on a fish, while a hunter has his sights set upon the bear; the hunter stands with his left foot forward, right arm raised with his harpoon aimed at the bear. All three figures are mounted upon a fossilized bone base and signed on the underside by Eddy Syngoc. Measures approximately 15" x 4" x 7" tall.

An original oil painting on masonite by the late Alaska artist Jeanne Laurence (1887-1980), wife of prominent Alaska artist Sydney Laurence (1865-1940). The piece depicts Mt. McKinley, as it was known at the time, a subject featured prominently in his own work. From a vantage point above the Tokositna River, a foreground of spruce trees fades into a mist-shrouded river valley and into the base of the Alaska Mountain Range. In contrast, the summit rises above, and is clearly visible against a blue-gray sky, its snow-capped brilliance alternating with receding shadows. The artist follows faithfully along the artistic trail her pioneering husband blazed - one of atmospheric, Impressionist landscapes of romantic old Alaska with a superb palette of warm versus cool hues, combined with with expressive brushwork.
