Meet Our Team

Our business has grown immensely since January 2018! Starting from a kitchen table, to expanding to garages and a few storage units, next to a moderately sized warehouse, we’ve now upgraded to a 44,000 sq ft. warehouse serving 40+ full-time employees.

Over time we’ve hired several specialized team members including two Auction Managers, a Production Manager, a Firearms Specialist, and a Facilities Manager, in addition to 11 Auction Inventory Coordinators who catalog inventory, handle inventory pick-ups, and provide excellent customer service.

Our Owners

Alaska Premier Auctions & Appraisals LLC was founded on January 4th, 2018, by Dan Newman, a lifelong Alaskan with a strong background in broadcast and digital media sales. As our Principal Auctioneer—and one of less than 1% of minority benefit auctioneers in the country—Dan uses his outgoing personality to drive outreach and sales.

In July 2018, Dan took on business partner Nick Cline. Serving as our Lead Auction Manager and Lead Appraiser, Nick acts as the perfect counterbalance to Dan; he is our quiet, reserved item expert who ensures the accuracy and management of our inventory.

The leadership trio was completed when Abigail McLagan became a partner on July 1st, 2022. Having joined in 2021, Abigail is an Alaska REALTOR® and AMM & PVS designee who has sold over 50+ pieces of real estate at auction. Her zest, zeal, and technical prowess in online marketing and analysis make her an absolute asset to the firm's growth and client success.

Our Team

Alaska Premier Auctions & Appraisals LLC is proud to employ 40+ full-time Alaskans.

We also work with a number of independent contractors, appraisal specialists, and local businesses!
