Two Alaska Railroad prints include a signed and numbered 198/250 "First Anniversary" from 1986, one year after the Alaska Railroad was purchased by the State of Alaska from the federal Government. The image, painted by Alaska artist Jarrett J. Jester celebrates the first anniversary showing an oncoming modern locomotive, #2801, with a ghosted image of a steam locomotive with the Big Dipper above it. The second print, from 1993, is titled "Grandview" was painted by Alaska artist Steve Gordon (b.1956) and depicts a southbound freight train in Grandview with windblown trees and wildflowers in the foreground. Both are framed, and the Jester piece measures approximately 30.5" x 23.75" overall.
