Nick Cline
Managing Partner & Lead Appraiser
Nick Cline has been with Alaska Premier Auctions & Appraisals since June 2018 and serves as Managing Partner, Lead Appraiser, and Lead Auction Manager. He oversees appraisal methodology, valuation strategy, and auction execution across a wide range of asset categories.
Nick specializes in collectibles, fine antiques, and historically significant objects, with experience ranging from everyday personal property to museum-quality antiques and fine art. He has worked with established auction houses nationwide and is known for his clear communication, ethical standards, and market-informed valuations.
Nick has appeared as an appraiser on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow during Seasons 28, 29, and 30, contributing to the program’s mission of public education and responsible valuation.

Shawna Ashlock
Appraiser
Shawna Ashlock joined Alaska Premier Auctions & Appraisals on February 14, 2022. She brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to appraisals, with a strong interest in learning, research, and hands-on evaluation.
Originally from the temperate rainforest of the Pacific Northwest near Portland, Oregon, Shawna first discovered Alaska while working a summer season at Denali National Park in 2013—and has called Alaska home ever since. Her curiosity and appreciation for objects, history, and material culture make her a natural fit for appraisal work.
At APAA, Shawna supports appraisal research, cataloging, and valuation across a variety of property types. She is known for her diligence, adaptability, and commitment to continual growth—qualities that directly benefit our clients.
